Who are you building for?
The way you design your multiplex will depend on who you are designing it for.
Before you jump into the development process it’s important to think about who will be living in a multiplex with you. You will want to consider how much is shared and separated between the units in your house.
Below are some questions to help you think about how connected or separate you would like the units in your multiplex to be.
Do you want a connection between units?
...or should they be separate?
Do you want some common space, such as a shared kitchen?
...or shared laundry?
...or should each unit have all of its own spaces.
Think about what kinds of outdoor spaces should be shared...
...and which ones should be private.
